Shop Defits & Commercial Strip-Outs
Vacating a retail shop, office, or commercial tenancy? We clear the fit-out waste — shelving, display units, counters, signage, old fixtures, and general rubbish — so you can hand the premises back clean and on time. A practical, no-fuss service for tenants, property managers, and tradespeople on the Coffs Coast.
Who We Help
Commercial defits and strip-outs create a lot of bulky waste quickly. Old shelving, countertops, display cases, signage, partitions, and fit-out materials cannot go in a standard bin. Council bulk pickup is not available for commercial tenancies. And a skip bin cannot always be placed on a public footpath without a permit.
We come in with our fully enclosed pantech truck and tailgate lifter, load everything out, and take it away properly. Clean, fast, and fully insured.
- Retail tenants vacating at end of lease
- Franchisees completing a defit
- Commercial fitout contractors removing old materials
- Property managers overseeing premises reinstatement
- Landlords clearing out between tenancies
- Offices relocating or downsizing
- Restaurants, cafes, and food businesses closing or refitting
How It Works
Send Photos or Describe the Job
Tell us the type of tenancy, what needs clearing, and when you need it done. Photos help us quote accurately without a site visit.
We Confirm a Price and Time
We give you a firm price based on volume, access, and material types. No hidden charges on the day.
We Load and Clear the Premises
Our team removes everything from the premises using the tailgate lifter where needed. We leave the floor clean and ready for handback.
Responsible Disposal
Materials are sorted where possible — metal, timber, and recyclables separated from general waste and taken to licensed facilities.
What We Remove
Most fit-out waste and defit rubbish falls within our standard service. Send photos if you are unsure — we will confirm before committing.
Shelving & Racking
Metal and timber shelving, gondola runs, warehouse racking, and retail display units.
Counters & Service Benches
Reception counters, service desks, café countertops, and bar benches.
Display Cases & Cabinets
Glass display cabinets, refrigerated units, and retail display stands.
Partitions & Wall Fit-Out
Demountable walls, office partitions, cubicles, and suspended ceiling tiles.
Signage & Branding
Shop front signage, internal wall graphics, banners, and display boards.
General Fit-Out Debris
Packaging, off-cuts, old flooring, ceiling tiles, and general commercial rubbish.
What we do not handle
We do not remove asbestos, hazardous chemicals, refrigerants, or other controlled substances. We do not disconnect gas or electrical services — those must be handled by a licensed trade before we remove the associated fixtures.
Pricing
Commercial strip-outs are quoted based on the volume of material, the type of premises, access conditions, and the labour involved. Photos of the space make quoting faster and more accurate.
All prices include GST, labour, truck, and disposal. Pricing is based on how much of the truck the material fills. Heavy fixtures like metal racking and stone counters are denser than they look and affect the load weight. Access, distance, and dismantling time also factor in. Send photos for the most accurate quote.
Factors That Affect Price
- Total volume of material to remove
- Weight and type of fixtures (metal racking is heavy)
- Access — loading dock, street access, or stairs
- How much dismantling is required before loading
- Location and travel distance on the Coffs Coast
- Timeline — standard booking vs urgent same-day

Call to Discuss Your JobCommon Questions
Do you dismantle fixtures before loading?
We can remove most flat-pack style shelving and standard retail fixtures. For large or bolted-down racking or counters that require tools to dismantle, let us know in advance so we can factor that into the quote.
Can you work around the fitout contractor?
Yes. We can coordinate timing with your fitout team so we are removing waste as the strip-out progresses, keeping the site clear and efficient.
How much notice do you need?
We prefer 1–2 days notice for commercial jobs. For larger or more complex defits, earlier notice helps us allocate the right resources. Urgent same-day enquiries are welcome — call directly.
Can you provide a certificate of disposal for lease purposes?
Call us to discuss documentation requirements. We keep records of our jobs and can provide relevant details for your property manager or landlord where needed.
