We Lift and Roll the Carpet
We pull up the carpet and underlay, cutting and rolling it into manageable sections for loading.
Everything Goes on the Truck
Carpet rolls, underlay, tack strips, and any staples or debris from the floor are cleared and loaded. The floor is left clean and ready.
Responsible Disposal
Old carpet is taken to a licensed disposal facility. Where possible we seek recycling or material recovery — carpet contains significant recyclable fibre content.

Pricing
Carpet removal is priced by the volume it fills once lifted and rolled, plus any labour involved in lifting. A single room is at the lower end. A full house clearance is priced accordingly.
All prices include GST, labour, loading, and disposal. Pricing is based on the volume the carpet fills once lifted and rolled. Glued-down carpet, difficult access, or upper floors may affect the final price. Send photos for the most accurate quote.

Do the rooms need to be empty of furniture first?
For the smoothest job, yes — empty rooms are much faster to clear. If you cannot move furniture, let us know and we can factor light furniture moving into the job. Heavy furniture like beds and wardrobes are usually better moved by the homeowner before we arrive.
Can you remove carpet the day before my installer arrives?
Yes, that is one of the most common scenarios. Book us the day before and the floor will be clear and ready when your flooring team arrives.
What if the carpet is glued down?
Glued carpet takes considerably more effort to remove and increases the labour involved. Let us know upfront so we can price accordingly.
Can you also remove the tack strips and staples?
We remove the carpet and underlay as standard. Tack strips are generally removed as part of the job. Staples embedded in floorboards are typically handled by the flooring installer when they prepare the surface.
