Plumber & Trade Recycling

Old copper pipes, brass fittings, lead pipework, and bulk trade waste cannot go in a skip or council bin without proper sorting. Plumbers and tradespeople accumulate material waste across jobs — pipe offcuts, removed fittings, superseded hardware, and old fixtures. We offer a user-pays collection service for trade waste and recyclable metals from job sites, depots, and workshops across the Coffs Coast, taking materials to registered recycling facilities and keeping them out of general landfill.

Trade accounts available

Plumbers and tradespeople with regular work can set up a trade account — one call, we collect, and you invoice your client for disposal. Monthly invoicing available for businesses with ongoing volume.

What We Collect

Trade waste from plumbing and building jobs covers a wide range of materials — some recyclable, some going to licensed waste disposal. Copper and brass have genuine scrap value and should be kept out of landfill regardless. Lead pipe from old installations is classified as hazardous and requires correct handling. PVC and plastic pipe go to general waste or specialist recyclers depending on volume.

We collect from job sites, trade depots, and workshops. Bulk collections from a single location are more cost-effective — if you are clearing a depot or have accumulated months of trade offcuts, a single collection is the way to go.

  • Copper pipe — all diameters, offcuts and full lengths
  • Brass fittings, valves, and compression fittings
  • Lead pipe and lead-lined fittings from older installations
  • PVC and CPVC pipe — bulk collections
  • Old hot water systems and cylinders
  • Tapware, mixers, and shower fittings
  • Cast iron pipe sections and soil pipe
  • Stainless steel sinks and benchtops
  • General trade waste — packaging, off-cuts, broken tools
  • Bulk collections from trade depots and workshops

How It Works

1

Tell Us What You Have

A list or photos of the material — types, rough quantities, and location (job site, depot, or workshop). Bulk jobs quoted accurately from photos.

2

We Give You a Price

Upfront pricing based on volume and material types. Trade accounts can streamline this to a single regular pickup arrangement.

3

We Come to You

We collect from your job site or depot, load everything onto the truck, and handle all the heavy lifting and sorting on our end.

4

Taken to the Right Facility

Metals go to registered scrap recyclers. Lead and hazardous materials handled according to NSW regulations. General trade waste to licensed disposal.

Plumbers, Gas Fitters & Builders

If you work across multiple job sites and regularly have trade waste to move on the Coffs Coast, a trade account means less admin — we collect on schedule or on call, and you invoice your clients for disposal as part of the job.

Pricing

Trade waste collection is a user-pays service priced by the volume of material and the work involved in collecting it. Metal-heavy loads — copper pipe, cast iron — are denser than general waste but take significant truck space when bulky.

Minimum pickup (small amount of trade waste)From $110
Up to 1/4 Truck (~4–5m³ of material)$498.99
Up to 1/2 Truck (~8–10m³ of material)$998.99
Up to 3/4 Truck (~13–15m³ of material)$1,498.99
Full Truck / Depot Clear-Out$1,998.99

All prices include GST, labour, truck, and delivery to a registered recycling or disposal facility. Lead pipe and hazardous materials may incur a surcharge due to specialist handling requirements. Send a list or photos for an accurate quote.
