Our Services on the Mid North Coast

The Junk Removers & Pick Up Pros is a family-owned business based in Coffs Harbour. John and Leanne Cook have been serving the Mid North Coast since 2003. Over that time, the business has grown from scrap metal collection into a full range of rubbish removal, property clearance, small-move and delivery services. Everything we do follows the same principles: clear pricing, proper insurance, an enclosed truck with a tail-lift, and honest communication.

This page lists the services we offer across the corridor from Port Macquarie to Yamba. Scheduled East Coast runs to Sydney, the Gold Coast and Brisbane operate by arrangement when truck space is available.

How a job works

Every service follows the same process. Text clear photos of the items or the property to 0415 540 055, tell us the suburb and any access issues, and we reply with a confirmed quote. Once you accept, we confirm a time and do the heavy lifting. We recycle or donate what we can before the remainder goes to licensed facilities.

Pricing and insurance

Our pricing follows the published load rates: minimum pickup from $110, quarter load $498.99, half load $998.99, three-quarter load $1,498.99 and full load $1,998.99. Travel time is built into each quote. Afterpay via Square is available for residential customers, and approved commercial accounts can be invoiced.

We carry $20M public liability cover, together with goods-in-transit and workers' compensation insurance. The enclosed Isuzu Pantech "Merlin" with a 600 kg tail-lift is used across our services.

Choosing the right service

Many customers are not sure which service they need, and that is fine. A property may need a full clear-out and a few heavy items removed, or a garage may need sorting before anything is taken away. Send photos of what you are dealing with and we will suggest the right approach. If one job covers several services, we will quote it as one visit where practical.

Working with agents, managers and families

Property managers, real estate agents, solicitors and families all have different needs. Some want a quick turnaround with a clear invoice. Others need a respectful pace and a plan that suits the people involved. We adapt the process to the job, and John and Leanne oversee every quote and booking so the same people stay across the work from start to finish.

Scheduling and hours

We operate from 6am to 8pm daily. Jobs outside those hours are arranged by appointment. Same-day attendance is available subject to availability, so the earlier you get in touch, the better the chance of a same-day booking. Whatever the timing, we will tell you clearly when we can attend before you commit.

Whether the job is a single item on a Saturday or a full property clearance, the same local team and the same truck handle it. That means you do not need to coordinate several contractors. You can ask one question, receive one clear quote and deal with one business from the first photo to the final tidy-up. Our long history on the Mid North Coast also means we understand the suburbs, roads and access issues that shape most jobs here.

What we do not take

We do not take asbestos or any waste involving bodily fluids. If an item falls outside what we can handle, we will tell you as soon as we see the photos.
