E-Waste and Scrap Metal Recycling Pickup in Coffs Harbour

Old computers in the spare room, a broken television in the garage, a shed full of scrap steel, or a set of old solar panels: these items should not go in the general bin. E-waste and scrap metal are recovered more responsibly when they are collected and sorted separately. We collect them across Coffs Harbour and the Mid North Coast and send them to recycling facilities where practical.

We are The Junk Removers & Pick Up Pros, a family-owned business run by John and Leanne Cook. The business began in 2003 as a one-man scrap metal operation, and recycling has been part of how we work ever since.

What we collect

• Computers, laptops, monitors, printers and televisions
• Other small electronics and cables
• Scrap metal, including steel, aluminium, copper and mixed metals
• White goods such as fridges, washing machines and dryers
• Air conditioning units and solar panels, quoted from photos
• Lead-acid batteries, where they can be safely handled and removed
• Water tanks and trampolines, quoted individually

If you are unsure whether an item is suitable, send a photo before the job. We do not take asbestos or any waste involving bodily fluids.

How the recycling works

Items are sorted on collection. Metal and e-waste are taken to recycling facilities, and white goods are processed for their metal and components where practical. Items in good condition may be donated instead. We will tell you what happens to larger or unusual items if you ask. We cannot promise that every item will be recycled or accepted for donation, because condition and facility rules decide that.

Data on devices

If a computer, hard drive or server holds personal or business information, tell us before the job. We can discuss your needs, but we do not offer a certified data destruction service in this article. Remove or back up data yourself before the collection, and speak with a specialist provider if you need certified destruction.

How to book

1. Text clear photos of the items to 0415 540 055.
2. Include your suburb and access details, such as stairs, parking and the distance from the items to the truck.
3. We reply with a confirmed quote. Travel time is built into the price.
4. Once you accept, we confirm a time. Same-day attendance is subject to availability.

Pricing and payment

Our published starting points are a minimum pickup from $110, with quarter, half, three-quarter and full loads at $498.99, $998.99, $1,498.99 and $1,998.99. Some e-waste and scrap jobs are small enough to be priced as a minimum pickup. Residential customers can pay by card or Afterpay via Square. Approved accounts can be invoiced.

Insurance

We carry $20M public liability cover, together with goods-in-transit and workers' compensation insurance.
